It’s my first day on skis and I have no experience on snow or an artificial ski facility/ I have a onetime experience skiing but I would like to go back to the basics.
Level 1+
I manage to snow plow on the beginner’s slope, while maintaining control (stop, turn, direction); I did not ski yet the green/blue slopes or I did but felt out of control.
Level 2
I can maintain control while snowplowing on green/blue runs; towards the turn’s end I can “match” my skis to a parallel position/ I can ski parallel but feel that something basic is still lacking and I’d like to improve my technique.
Level 3
I manage to almost always ski parallel but often start my turn with a plow/ I feel very comfortable on green and blue slopes but once the terrain starts to be steep or icy I’m challenged.
Level 4
I ski parallel with fluency on red and blue runs, sometimes I find it hard to ski a bumpy and steep red-run or a black run; I have some limited off-piste experience but I’m falling a lot and feel that I need to work on my off-piste basic skills.
Level 5
I’m an advanced skier, I can ski well while maintain control and a good curving quality on most runs, including black runs; I have some experience in off-piste skiing and I mostly manage to connect turns and stop as I ski off-piste.
Level 5+
I'm an expert skier, I manage to ski fast and in control on deep snow and in variable conditions.
